An antique underwood no. 11 typewriter, ca. 1925. Sound was recorded on a zoom h4 in a sound booth. However, it didn't have a bell or a platen, so the key is hitting the platen of another typewriter from the 1970s. Audio cleaned up in audacity. Please use freely! i found a lack of high-quality single-key sounds.
This is old and my memory not what it used to be. However, i do recall hitting a steel ruler against an empty paint tin and making some sort of popping sound with my voice. Then exposing it to terrible amounts of electronic torture until it melted with sonic extacy!.
Marble falling on a tile: in this sound a marble falls to the ground creating a very high pitch sound when the marble hits the ground multiple times in short succession. Recorded using the zoomh4n and the rode ntg1 condenser shotgun microphone. No processing was done to this sound. The tile is a common bathroom tile.
Bowling: here we have the sounds of a bowling ball hitting the pins in a bowling alley. Not only do you hear the loud crash when contact is being made by the ball but you also hear the pins scatter. Created a loop in audacity by hitting an old coca cola collectors glass with a spoon in several locations, altering the pitch of these sounds, and applying them in a rhythmic fashion. Ended up with a kinda creepy march-like sound.
